So far this heater has performed very well in extreme cold weather, it’s quiet and is fairly intuitive using the directions that were included with the unit . I definitely recommend it .
This heater is great. It’s very quiet, well built and puts out a good deal of heat. I have a Jackery 2000 running it and it appears to be able to power it for almost 60 hours on low. I’ll be testing it extensively in the coming year. So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I’d recommend it for those of us who are too lazy to build our own. 😂

The manual was impressive and well written, with pro tips and personal feedback on operating the unit. It really feels like Yotto Overland put effort into this build. Everything is solid, only one adjustment I made to the design was relocating the power and LCD panel connector to the right side of the heater. Since they originally shared the same side as the hot air outlet, moving them makes for a more practical setup.
Works perfectly for us weekend warriors — solid build quality, easy setup, and great heat output even in the Colorado cold. Customer service was next level — had a question and Miles answered at midnight. We were warm and toasty in no time. Highly recommend!
I mounted the combustor on a croc hinge on my roof rack — super steady, zero rattle. Absolutely amazing product by Yotto Overland!
This thing is amazing. When it arrived, the carrier damaged a part. Miles gave me thorough instructions on how to temporarily fix it and sent me a new unit to replace mine with. The one night I used it, it was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a product from Yotto based purely off of their customer service. Hopefully they start making some 4runner and GX parts soon!

We’ve purchased a total of six Combusto units for our touring company over the past two years, and we’ve definitely seen the product improve over time. Our first unit used metal clips throughout the fuel line system, while the newer versions switched to soft tubing, which gives everything a much cleaner and more refined look. This thing is really well built. What’s been most impressive is the reliability. All six units are still running strong with no major failures, even with heavy use about four days a week. The build quality has been excellent, and our customers have been extremely happy.
Very fast shipping! Well built and thought out design, instructions clearly written by someone who speaks English and knows how to operate the heater. Everything was straight forward and it works as it’s supposed to. Read the start up instructions there’s important info in them regarding the initial process. Well done Yotto!

Very cool heater. I think this would heat a small well insulated building. Puts off a ton of heat. The only thing that worries me is that the controls dont seem very durable and i will also be running this unit outside in all weather and im afraid the electrical connections may not hold up well to getting wet.

I wouldn’t call it plug-and-play, but it’s definitely fun learning how this heater works. You do need to be a bit handy when it comes to troubleshooting a few things. Overall, I’m really happy with the product — it feels much more solid and thoughtfully built than my previous $300 Hcalory heater. It’s also impressively quiet. Easy 5 stars from me!
We ordered 4 units last winter and added 6 more this season. We use them on our ice fishing and aurora expeditions, and I have to say the current version has made some great improvements—especially in the manual, overall build quality, and a core unit that runs noticeably quieter than last year’s model. As a touring company based in Fairbanks, these upgrades make a real difference for both our team and our customers.
Right before I primed the unit, I noticed a fuel line had disconnected from the bracket. If I had gone straight into prime mode, it probably would’ve leaked everywhere. Luckily, it was a quick fix, and customer service was extremely responsive and attentive. Not a big deal overall—I’d still recommend this product to anyone. Just make sure to do a thorough inspection before priming!

Great Product! The 5kW was honestly overkill for our Gazelle—we had to dial it down and even leave a zipper cracked open through the night. Before this heater, my wife and I would always end up with cold feet, even when we zipped two zero-degree down sleeping bags together. With this heater, though, we stayed perfectly warm using nothing more than a costco blanket in 20°F weather. It kept us cozy and toasty all night long.

We originally bought this heater as a backup for our family road trip to Alaska. To our surprise, it ended up working even better than the built-in diesel heater in our sprinter. The kids especially loved it when they camped out in a tent beside the RV—it kept them warm and comfortable all night (they said it felt like “camping with central heating”!). On top of that, we really appreciated the manual that came with this heater. It was actually clear and easy to follow—unlike others we tried that read like they were run through Google Translate. This one made setup almost fun, which is something I never thought I’d say about an instruction manual.
