Equipped with built-in elevation and cold-air sensors, the unit delivers consistent, dependable heat at altitudes up to 13,000 feet — making it ideal for high-mountain adventures and challenging terrain.

Fuel Consumption & Efficiency

A 5kw, generally speaking is overkill for a RTT, so we recommend always running on its lowest setting. A full 6-liter diesel tank typically lasts 3 nights. According to most user feedback, you really won’t need to run it at full blast while sleeping—unless you want to wake up roasted!

How Does It Work? 

The diesel heater burns fuel in a engine to make heat. A fan pulls in clean air, passes it over a hot metal part inside, and transfer the warm air into your space by ducting. The exhaust goes outside through a pipe with muffler — so only clean, dry heat stays inside. It’s safe, fuel-efficient, and great for staying warm in cold or high places.

Whats in the hot box？

• A reliable power station or power inverter is mandatory to run this unit properly.
• Some entry-level power stations may not handle the start-up surge of this heater, so be sure your setup can deliver enough output of at least 300w.
• If your main power source struggles to start the engine, switch to a 120V plug as a backup option.

This unit is intended for quick, ground-level run-and-gun use. For safety reasons, do not permanently bolt the heater to your racks or operate your vehicle with the heater fixed in place. Always use a quick-release style mounting solution instead.

Return Policy:

All sales are turnkey builds and final. We do not accept returns unless the Combusto was damaged in shipping and cannot operate. Most components are replaceable, and we are happy to provide replacement parts when needed. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless shipping insurance was purchased. All returns must be in their original condition, unused, and include all accessories.

Warranty:

We provide replacement parts for up to six months from the delivery date. Our warranty covers troubleshooting support and the replacement of defective components.

Your warranty will be void under the following conditions:

• Any modifications to the original design.
• Misuse or failure to follow the operational guidelines.

Error Codes:

Using a diesel heater comes with a learning curve. Most of the time it’s a straightforward plug-and-play unit, but sooner or later you may see an error pop up—kind of like a check engine light in a car. An error code doesn’t necessarily mean the heater is broken; in fact, almost all of them are fixable. If there is an error code that you could not troubleshoot it on your own after researches, please reach out.
