We sold dozens units locally, word spread quickly, and by 2025 tariffs, rising demand, and inconsistent component supply made U.S. assembly impossible to sustain at the price point we wanted. On top of that, the workload pulled us away from the other half of Yotto Overland — our paint booth — and the balance simply wasn’t sustainable.So we moved the build to the source: a professional, production-ready facility — the same manufacturer that produces the core units we were already using. This is a contracted, exclusive build made to our specs. Is Combusto Weather Proof?

Yes! The Combusto is built to handle rainy weather, and its waterproof aviation port is designed for outdoor use without any additional shelter. On rainy days, the air-intake outlet should be capped or connected to a ducting to prevent water from dripping in. Even so, as long as water isn’t splashing directly into the air-intake opening, you’re perfectly fine. Store the LCD panel inside the case and use the remote controller. That’s why we always recommend placing the unit outside rather than mounting it inside enclosed spaces.For your power station—just keep it protected from rain and snow. As long as the power source stays sheltered and dry, you’re good to go!

Think flimsy water-jug fuel tanks, or worse, copper power terminals still being used for outdoor gear. It makes no sense.And to be fair, there are solid brands we respect in this space, like LF Bros and Hcalory.

Whats the Amps, Fuel Combustion Like?

The only time you may run into breaker-tripping issues is when using a 12V cigarette-lighter plug, as those ports are not designed for high startup loads.Every Combusto is tested before shipping using an entry-level Anker C300 power station, ensuring solid wiring connections and proper ignition.Power Draw:• Both the 2kW and 5kW models pull 8–15 amps during startup, then settle to 1–3 amps while running.Fuel Consumption:• 2kW model: ~0.2 L/hour• 5kW model: ~0.4 L/hour (depending on heat level)

If the issue was caused by user error, we’ll only charge a small labor fee and send it back. If the fault is with the unit itself, we’ll take care of everything at no cost to you.ReturnYou may return the Combusto within 7 days of delivery for any reason as long as it’s unused.A 25% restocking fee + $35 shipping will apply.If the heater has been used, is missing its original packaging, or shows signs of wear, an additional restocking fee will apply.
